PICO-BALL is a wild sports mashup where tennis, volleyball, squash, and wallball collide in one fast, chaotic package. The rule is simple—if the ball bounces twice on your side, you lose the point. But the way that plays out is anything but simple. Whether you’re spiking, slicing, or scrambling to keep the rally alive, the game never stops moving.
If you’re flying solo, the Campaign puts you in Jelpi’s shoes as you work through a lineup of quirky opponents. Strider can’t handle high balls, Heli hovers in the air but struggles with speed, Frog serves up unpredictable trick shots, Bird plays aggressively and pushes into your side, and Mimo—your old friend—only gets harder to beat the longer the match goes on. There’s also Wall mode, where you battle an unflinching wall for as long as you can survive, plus a Spectate mode to watch AI battles play out.
Grab a friend for some couch competition in Versus mode. You’ll be trading points and dodging power-ups that can either save you or wreck your rhythm. Or team up in Co-op mode to keep multiple balls in play—easier said than done when powerups start flipping the rules. Every win earns you new hats for your character, so there’s always something to show off.
PICO-BALL is easy to pick up, whether you’re on a keyboard or controller. Player 1 uses WASD, Player 2 uses ESDF for better keyboard comfort, and both can use the arrow keys if needed. You can tweak settings in the pause menu for smoother play. The learning curve is short, but mastering the timing, angles, and tricks takes practice—and that’s where the fun kicks in.
